Statcap Cerdas BPS

 The Change and Reform for the Development of Statistics, dubbed The STATCAP-CERDAS project, is a five year program.to modernize BPS to meet future challenges of the statistical agency. The project which will be implemented from 2010 to 2014, aim at enhancing the statistical system of Indonesia and, in particular, improve the quality of the statistical products produced by BPS-Statistics Indonesia as well as improving the users confidence in the statistics through better engagement with users and better responding to their needs. The end product will be better statistical data and better access to any BPS statistical products by the public. These initiatives will be driven by the most important user needs and infrastructure improvements, i.e. information and communication technology, needed to ensure that these improvements are sustainable. In addition, it is also imperative to enhance BPS’ human resources capability to meet the challenges of reform and change.
